eos 1ds mark ii sample picture

Dumb dumb dumb javascript-newbie question.

can I do something like a document.write("BLAH"); on multiple lines?

I need (or at least I feel I need) to have some HTML written out via document.write or else itapos;ll look like ass when javascript is disabled (Iapos;m using InnerFade for something and with Javascript off everything just displays at once and breaks things).

So now I have a document.write that displays the InnerFade version of things and a noscript backup that displays something less complex if javascript if off. The downside is that I have this single gignormous line in the document.write now, and if I do linebreaks I get the error that says Iapos;m an idiot for trying to have things a bit more organized and indented like I normally would want to do with HTML/CSS/etc.

Is there a way to allow linebreaks and indentations so things look cleaner on the code side? Iapos;d hate to have this left as a giant code-mess even with things looking right on the user end.
