I saw something pretty strange yesterday. A squirrel wandered away from a wooded area on campus onto a brick sidewalk, then it just laid down on its stomach and puts it four tiny paws out at its sides. I wondered if it died or something, but as I stepped toward it, its head cocked up and turned toward me. As I tried to get close enough for a photo (my phoneapos;s camera has no zoom), it got up, ran a few feet away, then laid back down with its paws all out. That time, it kept its eyes on me, and I just chuckled and left.
What the hell?
